Abstract
A method is presented for objective statistical evaluation of the results of experiments designed to measure the dissociation constants of competitive antagonists by the method of Arunlakshana and Schild. The experimental dose-response data are fitted by the logistic function and a test of parallelism is included. Estimation of the dissociation constant from pairs of dose ratios and corresponding concentrations of antagonist is discussed.
