Abstract
Human subjects given labeled β-(3,4 ,5-trimethoxyphyphenyl) -ethylanoine by mouth excrete an average of 81.9% of the administered dose in the urine during the first 12 hours. An average of 26.2% of the administered dose is excreted in the urine as free TMPA. TMPA given to humans by mouth produces no physiological or psychological changes.
