The interspecies difference in the half-lives are in accordance with literature data, where the elimination time is increased when the pharmacokinetics are scaled up through animal species [50,51]. The differences in the mean residence time (MRTblood) between rats and mice were also in accordance with this observation: 27.1 for mice and 31.1 min for rats.
