Kuo (1996) investigated a panel of flavonoids (flavone, kaempferol, naringenin, biochanin, rutin, naringin, catechin, genistein) in human Caco-2 cells and HT-29 colon adenocarcinoma cell lines. The antiproliferative effects of these flavonoids differed widely.
