Kinetic parameters (h–1) associated with the disposition of terfenadine and preformed fexofenadine in control and DEX-treated SC rat hepatocytes Terfenadine (5 μM) or preformed fexofenadine (5 μM) were incubated with day 4 SC rat hepatocytes as described under Materials and Methods. Parameter estimates were generated by nonlinear regression of the pooled data based on the equations described in Appendix II according to the model schemes shown in Fig. 2. Bold type represents fixed parameter estimates used in simulation experiment (Fig. 5).
