Response to application of theophylline (theo, 30 mg/kg b.wt. i.v.) in A1 receptor wild-type (+/+, n = 5) and knockout (-/-, n = 5) mice anesthetized with α-chloralose/ketamine Clearance experiments were performed in two subsequent periods (P1 and P2, 30 min each). Theophylline was applied as a bolus after P1 and P2 was started 5 min thereafter. Data are means ± S.E.M.
