CYP3A9 mRNA expression in various tissues after ovariectomy and hormone treatment. OVEX rats (n = 4) were treated with E2, PROG, or both, as described under Materials and Methods. Total RNA was analyzed for CYP3A9 expression using QRTPCR, and sample values were normalized to R-cyclophilin. Control CYP3A9 values in lung were 2.63 ± 0.75 and are not shown in the table.
