Data represent mean ± S.E. Numbers in parentheses are number of tissues used. Transport of 36Cl (0.5 μCi/ml), 22Na (1 μCi/ml), and d-[3H]mannitol (10 μCi/ml) was studied in the mucosal absence and presence of 10 μM UTP under short-circuit condition. Jnet equals Jsm minus Jms. ΔJIsc,eq is net flux based on Isc measurements.
