Km and Vmax values were calculated for NAALADase activity in human brain membranes and PSMA-transfected PC3 cell lysates based on the results in figure 1. Values in parentheses represent the 95% confidence interval for each parameter. Specific activity at Vmax is the rate of glutamate formation at Vmax expressed as a function of total assay protein.
