Exposure of LVs to either increasing quarter-log conc. of cromakalim (0.01–3 μmol/l), half-log conc. of minoxidil sulfate, or half-log conc. of diazoxide (0.01–100 μmol/l) progressively increased EDD concurrent with decreases in contraction frequency, amplitude, and calculated flow (*P < 0.05; **P < 0.01; ***P < 0.001;****P < 0.0001, mean ± S.D., n = 6).
