Total average number of arm crosses in the plus maze test during withdrawal

Assessment of total number of crosses in the plus-maze test during nicotine withdrawal. Using the precipitated model, nicotine-dependent mice were treated with mecamylamine (2 mg/kg) on test day (day 14), and the total number of crosses between open and closed arms of the plus-maze test was counted. Numbers are presented as the total average number of arm crosses ± S.E.M. for six to eight mice per group.
