Elimination of β-(o-toloxy)-lactic acid was complete in 24 hours after the larger dose. No evidence was found to indicate that appreciable quantities of free Myanesin are excreted in the urine of humans. No significant amounts of the drug are degraded to o-toloxyacetic acid or to o-cresol in man or in rats.
