When adrenalin is added to defibrinated cat's or dog's blood it is all found in the serum within the limits of error of the methods employed for its assay (colorimetric method of Folin, Cannon and Denis; Elliott's method; rabbit intestine and uterus segments). 2. The same is true of the naturally secreted epinephrin in dog's adrenal vein blood.
