The electrical potential of frog skin measured through Ringer's solution and Ag-AgCl electrodes is not altered by 1 per cent sulfanilamide. 2. The oxygen consumption of frog skin is depressed about 40 per cent by 1 per cent sulfanilamide. 3. Neoprontosil and sulfamido-chrysoidin have no effect on the electrical potential or oxygen consumption of frog skin. 4. The excised auricles of the turtle are chronotropically and inotropically stimulated by 1 per cent sulfanilamide. 5. The oxygen consumption of slices of ventricle of the turtle heart is not affected by 1 per cent sulfanilamide. %U https://jpet.aspetjournals.org/content/jpet/70/4/428.full.pdf
