AB  - 22, 25-Diazacholestanol dihydrochloride, SC-11952, has been shown to be a potent hypocholesterolemic agent in the normal rat and in the rat made hypercholesterolemic with propylthiouracil. No obvious, acute, cardiovascular or central nervous side effects have been observed at doses as great as 10 times the minimal effective hypocholesterolemic dose.
