Abstract
Subacute alcohol intoxication in well fed dogs causes a moderate diminution of total nitrogen and total sulphur and a much greater diminution of total and inorganic sulphates and of phosphate. There is also a tendency to retention of chlorides. Neutral sulphur and ethereal sulphates are on the contrary increased while indican is diminished after the administration of toxic doses of alcohol.
