In the above article [Xie H, Audette C, Hoffee M, Lambert JM, and Blättler W (2004) J Pharmacol Exp Ther 308:1073-1082], the AUCtot values currently listed in Table 1 for May are 1000-fold too large. They should be:
The error is only in the table and not in the text. The AUCtot values are discussed in the last paragraph (line 9) under Discussion, where it is correctly stated that the increase upon conjugation is more than 60-fold. Therefore, there is no change in the scientific conclusion.
There is a similar typographic error in Table 2. In the first numerical column, in the row corresponding to “Fat”, the value listed should be “25” instead of “8”. The number “25” is given correctly under Materials and Methods (page 1076, second column, last two lines before Results) and, more importantly, was used in the calculations for Table 2. Once again, no change is necessary in either the text or the scientific content.
The authors apologize for missing these two errors when they reviewed the page proofs.
