Abstract
Acetylcholine was measured specifically by a pyrolysis-gas chromatographic method in perfusates of the stimulated innervated and denervated hemidiaphragm. The innervated muscle, stimulated directly or indirectly, released much more acetylcholine than did the stimulated denervated muscle.
