Abstract
Streptovaricin has been shown to be well absorbed from all parts of the digestive tract of dogs with the possible exception of the stomach. Following intravenous administration antibiotic activity disappears from the blood at a considerably faster rate than thiopental. Tissue levels also decline at a very rapid rate. The antibiotic is not excreted to a significant degree in the urine antd bile, nor is it stored in tissues to an appreciable degree.
