Abstract
By paper chromatography, and response of the cat's blood pressure and nictitating membrane, l-nor-epinephrine has been found in a sample of l-epinephrine isolated from Ch`an Su, a commercial form of Chinese toad poison. It occurs in the quantity of approximately 2 to 4 per cent estimated as l-nor-epinephrine bitartrate.
