Cyclic-voltammetric studies of some phenothiazine dyes

Abstract

The electrochemical properties of some phenothiazine dyes have been determined by cyclic voltammetry in an aqueous acidic medium. The ΔEp and ipa/ipc values are consistent with a two-electron reversible charge transfer over a limited pH range. The trends in redox potential and their variation with pH and diffusion coefficient are discussed.
