In vivo temporal EPR study using a region-selected intensity determination method to estimate cerebral reducing ability in rats treated with olanzapine
2010, Magnetic Resonance ImagingCitation Excerpt :This enabled RSID target points (each point at x=+3.0 mm, y=+4.5 mm, and z=+3.0 mm; or x=+5.0 mm, y=+8.5 mm and z=+2.0 mm from the BLGR center) to be always the same, within the range of the spatial resolution (i.e., 2.7 mm). In the striatum, the acute administration of HPD augments dopamine turnover because of high D2 occupancy [9,10,13,14], whereas acutely administered OZP also causes enhanced dopamine turnover despite lower D2 occupancy [14,17]. However, OZP administration induces intrastriatal dopamine release, which increases dopamine turnover [18].
