The enzyme activity was determined by partition assays as previously described (Borhan et al., 1995; Gill et al., 1983a; Mumby and Hammock, 1979). Briefly 1 μl of 5 mM c-SO, t-SO, t-DPPO, 14,15-EET, 9,10-EpOME or 0.5 mM JH III substrates in DMSO were added into 100 μl of the appropriately diluted enzyme solutions with 0.1 mg/ml BSA.
