Levels of AL1576 in the soluble fraction of human myocardial strips exposed to doxorubicin and taxane-vehicle formulations Human myocardial strips were incubated in plasma and exposed to 10 μM doxorubicin, 6 μM taxanes formulated in their cosolvent systems (cf. legends to Tables 2, 3, 4), and 1 to 500 μM AL1576. After 4 h, the soluble fraction of the strips was assayed for AL1576 as described under Materials and Methods. All of the values were means ± S.E. of three experiments and were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance/Bonferroni's test for multiple comparisons; where indicated, unpaired Student's t test was also applied.
