Effect of PMN-depleting antiserum on leukocyte counts in blood from LPS/TVX-treated rats

Rats were pretreated with either 0.25 ml of control rabbit serum or rabbit anti-rat PMN serum diluted 1:1 in sterile saline (i.v.). Sixteen hours later, they were given 44.4 × 10⁶ EU/kg LPS or its Veh (i.v.), and then 2 h later, 60 mg/kg TVX or its Veh was administered (i.v.). Total leukocyte and differential counts were performed 6 h after TVX administration as described under Materials and Methods. All values are cells per microliter blood.
