Expanded acute hematology and serum chemistry effects in rhesus monkeys
Values represent means ± S.E.M. of four monkeys except for two hematology means. Baseline values were acquired 10 to 15 min before the intravenous administration of 60 nmol/kg 2-F-A-85380. The two missing HCT% values represent the two monkeys with the two highest control values (mean = 38.4 HCT%) compared with a control mean value of 35.6 HCT% of the remaining two monkeys. The tabular value may therefore represent and overestimation of the effect. Reference value limits are compiled from three published sources (mean ± 2 S.D.) (Fuller et al., 1992; Buchl and Howard, 1997; Horn et al., 1999) and the testing laboratory (Animal Diagnostic Laboratory, L.L.C.).
