Effects of short-term (3 h) activation of D2L dopamine receptors on cyclic AMP accumulation in CAD-D2L cells Cells were treated for 3 h with vehicle or 10 μM quinpirole. After pretreatment, cells were washed extensively and cyclic AMP accumulation was measured under basal conditions or in the presence of 1 μM MECA or 1 μM CGS 21680 for 15 min. Data shown are the mean ± S.E.M. of four independent experiments assayed in duplicate. Data are expressed as picomoles of cyclic AMP per well.
