For control and both BM-573-treated animals that developed an infarction, the area at risk revealed by Evans' blue and the infarcted area revealed by TTC are expressed as the percentage of left ventricle from each slice (S1→S5) and of total left ventricular mass (LV) Four BM-573-treated animals did not develop any myocardial infarction.
