Disposition of [3H]EE in vivo
Animals receiving a 5-day administration protocol of either EE (5 mg/kg b.wt.) or EE + UDC (25 mg/kg b.wt.) were injected with [3H]EE (10 μCi/kg b.wt.) in lieu of the last administration of unlabelled EE. Immediately, bile was collected for 120 min. At the end of the experiment, radioactivity of serum and liver homogenate was measured and biliary secretion of total 3H was evaluated in the whole 120-min period.
