Experiment IV: Summary of ADX and CORT replacement therapy in darglitazone-treated female rats

SHAM rats were pair-fed to their corresponding ADX rats for 14 days. Corticosterone (CORT) was administered daily (20 mg/kg s.c.) in peanut oil. Darglitazone was administered daily by oral gavage for 14 days. ADX animals were given free access to normal saline. Values with different superscripts within the same column were significantly different from each other by one-way analysis of variance followed by Fisher's least significant difference test (means ± S.D., n = 3-4, P < 0.05).
