K_m and V_max values (mean ± S.E.M.) are from three separate experiments, calculated by nonlinear regression analysis of synaptosomal [³H]DA uptake as a function of free [³H]DA concentration (see Materials and Methods for details).

↵2-a Significant effect of [4MeTMPNMe] on apparent K_m by one-way ANOVA with repeated measures (F_2,4 = 41.04, p = 0.002).
↵2-b Significant effect of [4MeTMPNMe] on V_max by one-way ANOVA with repeated measures (F_2,4 = 7.43, p = 0.045), but no significant difference between samples with and without 4MeTMPNMe byt test with Bonferroni correction.
