Fasted rats were injected i.c. with the compounds listed or the appropriate vehicle (10 μl). Ten minutes later, the phenol red-methyl cellulose solution was administered and the gastric emptying determined 20 min later. Data represent mean ± S.E. of the number of animals (n) shown for each treatment.
