Vmax values are expressed as nanomoles per minute per milligram protein. Km values are expressed in micromoles per liter. The relatively large S.D. of the meanKm value for the 4-OH-MDZ pathway in the old group is attributable to a single high value (66.4 μM). Six livers were used for each group.
