Equivalent amounts of recombinant human p38 protein were assayed for each isoform. Values are the mean of two experiments ±1 S.D. Dose-response curves for inhibition of p38α and p38β are shown in Fig. 4.
Inactive indicates no significant inhibition at the highest concentration tested (20 μM).
