Sections were incubated with 100 pM [125I]PE2I either alone or in the presence of 100 μM cocaine, 1 μM GBR 12909, 20 nM paroxetine, or 20 nM nisoxetine. Exposure was carried out for 3 days, and regional optical densities were measured on identified anatomical regions according to the atlas of Paxinos and Watson (1986).
