Currents induced by 10 μM ACh were measured 2 days after injection of RNA transcripts coding for Torpedo californicaAChR subunits as described in “Methods”. Concentration-inhibition curves were obtained for each cembranoid at concentrations ranging from 2.5 to 40 μM. Each cembranoid was tested on three to six oocytes, obtaining one curve per oocyte. In all cases, inhibition was incomplete; the second column indicates the percent of control current inhibited at the maximum cembranoid concentration of 40 μM.
