ED50 values were calculated from dose-responses shown in figure 2. Endomorphin-1 was significantly more potent spinally than supraspinally, as indicated by the lack of overlap of the 95% confidence limits. At the spinal level, endomorphin-1 was significantly more potent than endomorphin-2, as indicated by the lack of overlap of the 95% confidence limits.
