  • Time courses of uptake of 5 mM GSH were determined with addition of the indicated compound(s) to the incubation medium in the absence or presence of 2 μM antimycin A. Mitochondrial samples were processed by the centrifugation-resuspension method. The initial rate of GSH uptake was then calculated by the method described in “Materials and Methods.” Results are the means ± S.E. of three experiments.
