Metoprolol at doses of 1, 10 and 50 mg/kg/day was administered in the drinking water to BIO 53.58 hamsters for 7 weeks. Rosenthal analysis of specific (−)-[125I]CYP and [3H]prazosin binding in myocardial homogenates of hamsters was performed. Each value represents the mean ± S.E. of 6 to 7 determinations.
