Data are means latency (s) to fall ± S.E.M. (rotarod) or means locomotion counts ± S.E.M. (spontaneous locomotion) (n = 4–7 per value). ANOVA results were as follows: rotarod, F3,17 = 2.8, P < 0.05; spontaneous locomotion in nonhabituated mice, F4,30 = 13.0, P < 0.001; spontaneous locomotion in habituated rats, F3,19 = 0.9, P > 0.05.
