GABAAR modulators enhance L-VGCC current decay

Diltiazem (30 and 10 μM) was analyzed for Cav1.2 and Cav1.3, respectively. Pentobarbital (0.3 and 1 mM) was analyzed for Cav1.2 and Cav1.3, respectively. r200 is the ratio of current remaining after a 200-ms depolarization relative to the peak current. Control r200 values were obtained in the same cells in the absence of drug. Per. Dec. represents average percentage drug-induced decrease in the r200 value.
