Effects of E3710 and esomeprazole on 24-h intragastric pH in gastric fistula dogs

After 40 min of intravenous histamine infusion at approximately 10:00 AM, 0.5% MC, E3710, or esomeprazole was administered intraduodenally, and the measurement of intragastric pH was commenced. Intragastric pH was measured for 24 h under free moving and free access to drinking water. The total food allowance per day was divided into two equal portions, which were separately offered to each dog at approximately 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Data are expressed as the mean ± S.E.M.
