The enzyme inhibitors, URB597 and JZL184, selectively increased brain and spinal cord levels of AEA and 2-AG, respectively Fourteen days after CCI/sham surgery, mice were injected with URB597 (10 mg/kg i.p.), JZL184 (16 mg/kg i.p.), or vehicle. Pretreatment times were 1 h for URB597 and 2 h for JZL184, along with each vehicle. LC/MS/MS was used to quantify AEA and 2-AG for each sample. Data are expressed as mean (± S.E.M.). n = 4 to 6.
