Affinity and density of D₃ receptors after experimental treatments Pooled ventral striatal membranes (nucleus accumbens and olfactory tubercle) from mice in each treatment group were assayed for D₃ dopamine receptor binding using [³H](+)-PD-128,907 (6–8 concentrations per assay, 0.02–3.2 nM). Data represent the mean of two independent determinations using LIGAND. The S.D. between determinations for K_d values ranged between 12 and 54% of the mean; B_max values, between 5 and 16% of the mean.
