Characteristics of mEPSCs

mEPSCs were recorded in CA1 pyramidal neurons in hippocampal slices at VH =–60 mV and +40 mV. There was a significant increase in mEPSC peak current amplitude in FZP-withdrawn neurons at VH =–60 mV. Peak current amplitude (Ipeak) was derived from the averaged events with a rise time <5 ms. Data listed as means ± S.E.M. (number of cells) were analyzed by a two-tailed unpaired Student's t test.
