Kd values for the different receptor binding assays
The mean Kd values ± S.E. were calculated using the geometric Kd values for all of the assays at all of the age groups at the different doses of DMI. Statistical analysis (ANOVA) comparing the pKd values from the binding experiments for each receptor subtype type for the two treatment paradigms showed no significant differences (P > 0.05) with age or dose of drug with the exception of the β-adrenergic receptor assays. For the β -adrenergic receptor binding assays, two of 61 assays in 4-day DMI treatment paradigm had mean Kd values that were within 1.7 times the mean Kd value and were not considered to be a biologically significant difference.
