AB  - The pharmacological activity of cyclopentylethylamine and cyclopentylisopropylamine has been compared with beta-phenylethylamine and amphetamine. The pressor activity of these compounds in barbitalized dogs, cats, and rabbits has been determined and compared with epinephrine. The action of these agents in the isolated guinea pig lung, on isolated rabbit heart, rabbit jejunum, in the intact rabbit and cat eye, on the nasal mucous membrane of man, and in man following oral administration has been determined.
