The ethiodides of quinoline and of various derivatives of quinoline do not have a distinct action upon the autonomic nervous system. 2. Phenyl esters and phenylcarbamido- and acetamino-derivatives of various pyridinium compounds were investigated, but none were found which had a pronounced effect on the autonomic nervous system. 3. The phenyl ether of a pyrrolidinium compound had an intense nicotine action; analogous ethers of pyridinium and piperidinium compounds did not have such an action. ER -
