The Allan-Doisy follicular preparation, the corpus luteum extract of Hynson, Westcott and Dunning, three splenic extracts, including that of Waterman and De Kromme, and eight adrenal extracts, including the Koehler, Coffey-Humber, and Eaton preparations, were given R-10 sarcoma rats subcutaneously. 2. None of these extracts appreciably affected the incidence of regression or rate of growth of the tumor. 3. The follicular, corpus luteum, Coffey-Humber, Eaton, and two of our own adrenal extracts brought about an early incidence of liquefaction or opening of the tumor without affecting the incidence of regression. 4. Statistical analysis was applied to cope with the problem of spontaneous regression. ER -
