AB  - Injections of normal saline have considerable effects upon the blood pressure. A series of experiments have been performed showing the influence of the quantity injected, rate of injection, temperature of the solution, composition of the solution, and the mean blood pressure. Indications are given of what effects upon the blood pressure may be expected under different conditions, and the importance of control injections demonstrated.
